  6. QUESTION:
Cold hands and feet what could be wrong?
I always have cold hands and feet that are often an annoyance. I wash them with warm water but after around 5 minutes or so they get cold again. My hands are normal color(reddish even)however my hands are often cold. However when my hands get sweaty and warm during exercise and after eating. Also I am underweight so could that be causing it? btw I am 13. Also, i often walk barefoot on the cold hard wood floors. my hands have never been able to keep warm for long, and after warming up within the hour my hands become cold again (usually quite cold) much to the chagrin of anyone i come in contact with (besides the summertime when my extremities are often quite warm, and i know it is summertime but here it is quite cold, i live on the mountainside where it drops to about 4 degrees overnight in the middle of the summer) i also notice that my feet are even colder, washing them with warm water is the only solution but they get cold again after a while. also, could this possibly be affecting my weight (perhaps i don't absorb enough nutrients because all the calories go to my hands? i don't know?) Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
btw i do not have a slow metabolism, i eat often eat much more than my parents and yet i do not gain a pound, when my friend is gaining about 30 pounds/year even though hes already overweight

    • ANSWER:
This could be multiple things. The most common are, anxiety (which causes the blood to flow to the organs and away from your extremities), and problems with circulation. You don't need a high level of anxiety to alter blood flow (signs would be feeling like you don't want to sit still or restlessness). Both of these can be helped. If you want better circulation you could start running/exercising which would improve this a lot. You could also take a natural vasodilator (something that would make the blood vessels relax, like Arginine). Once your circulation gets better it will help the problem. To get rid of anxiety you can go two routes, natural or use prescription medication. Personally I recommend natural remedies. A natural way that is proven would be kavalactones (they potentiate gamma-aminobutyric acid which is a neurotransmitter that will reduce anxiety). Kavalactones have been shown to be as effective as benzodiazapines. As a side note I have used them before these before with remarkable success.

  7. QUESTION:
Are sweaty hands and feet in infants normal?
My 4 month old daughter always seems to have sweaty hands and feet. At first, it was just her feet, and now it seems like she has sweaty hands. We do dress her warm because it's still pretty cold here at night. But usually, we give her feet some air by taking off her socks, and don't put a onesie on her, just a sleep and play. Then sometimes during the day when she's just wearing a sleep and play, she'll sweat a bit during her naps. Our room doesn't generate heat for some reason like the rest of the house does, so it's rare if the heat comes on in our room. So usually it's either very cold, or in a comfortable temperature. Is this normal for infants to have sweaty hands and feet? Or is it generic? My dad and I usually as sweaty feet, but not as much as my daughter. What is this caused by?

    • ANSWER:
I never thought babies sweat untill my dd was born. She is like her daddy, there bodies feel cold different than I do. I am always cold and very bundled up. I realized after my dd would wake up soaked from sweat that she isn't like me and needs less clothes. So she slept in light weight pj's never with feet(she HATED feeties and socks when she slept)
Babies bodies are alot different than ours so, she may seem to sweat more than you and your dad but...as babies maybe???you and your dad sweat more? I have knoticed my dd sweats alot less now than when she was a baby. she is now 5. I let her sleep in what she wants...she knows how her body feels. in the winter she wears a summer nightgown and a blanket. I wear fleece pj's, a sweatshirt, slipper socks and 2 heavy blankets. we all feel cold differenly.

  8. QUESTION:

I am 20 year old female and I have sweaty and cold hands and feet since i was young. It sometimes goes away and comes back randomly. and sometimes my finger tips swell up.. what could cause this?

  9. QUESTION:
Icy cold hands and feet, excessive heat / sweating everywhere else?
I have a history of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating…at least that's the closest any doctor could narrow it down to). Even when it's not that hot out, I sweat all over, more profusely in the pelvic and groin region, and occasionally just as bad in my underarms. Until recently, I have gotten around this problem by wearing breathable undergarments, and by avoiding heavy clothing like sweaters and jackets, unless it's frostbite weather. But my problem only gotten worse, not better.

It started earlier this year, when I began to notice something unique about my sweaty bits - they are extremely hot to the touch! For example, I can hold my hand out in front of my groin, several inches away, and literally feel the heat radiating from my skin like it's a portable space-heater! No wonder I sweat so much down there…the heat alone must send my sweat glands into overdrive. It makes me wonder if my own body heat could ever render me infertile.

If that weren't enough, on the complete other end of the spectrum, my hands and feet have become really, really cold as of late - like I'm holding icepacks (think: Edward Cullen hands). Granted, it's nearing the end of Fall where I live, and the climate is certainly more bitter than in previous months; but even now as I am typing this, in the comfort of my toasty apartment, everything beneath my armpits and below the belt is sweltering hot, while my fingers are clacking against the keyboard like frozen sausages! What the hell? I refuse to wear gloves inside my own home!

By now I've done more research on these symptoms than a med student and have gotten nowhere. My primary care physician is useless, and I don't have the money to see a specialist (and what specialist would that even be…an endocrinologist…a dermatologist?). I just need to know what could possibly be causing this persistent and unequal distribution of body heat, and what can I do about it?

    • ANSWER:
You do sound as if you have hyperhidrosis, something many suffer from, never even knowing it has a name. There are specific types of hyperhidrosis, generalized, which is all over. I think I have the same kind you have, in the groin. It has a specific name, which escapes me at this precise moment in time, but it is miserable. That I can not forget. I have dealt with this for over 40 years and it has only been recently that I found the name: hyperhidrosis, but I have for several years experienced the cold hands and feet. Though that phase is over for me, hopefully. However I have had the sweaty crotch for years and years. I now live in Florida, and it is very warm here. Out of sheer despiration I designed and made something from muslin fabric that wraps around the crotch of ones briefs, encapsulating the elastic and keeping soggy elastic from digging into the skin, and allowing for evaporation. When the Wrapps get damp, unhook and toss in the laundry. It takes seconds to put a new dry, clean, cool Wrapp in place. The Extra P stands for perspiration.

I am affilliated with a website, Very Sweaty Betty, it is a group of hyperhidrosis sufferers, there is no fee to join. People discuss medications, proceedures, topical soloutions and what works for them. We find friendship in our skin dis-ease and get suggestions for new things that might help eachother. No one is trying to sell you anything. I hope you come to Very Sweaty Betty and have a look around, feel free to sign up hear what others, like yourself endure. We have a nurse who is a member and a sufferer and she is always up for giving honest advise, to enable us to find a decent doctor who will acknowledge our plight.

Remember, what may work for someone else may not work for you. But there is always someone there for you.

  11. QUESTION:
Is being cold a symptom of poor blood circulation?
I am always cold, and find myself complaining of being cold when others say they are "burning up." I often wear jackets in the summer time, and if I sit still for long periods of time my hands are cold but sweaty and my feet are very cold and clammy.

I cannot remember this happening for all my life, I have only recently noticed it (as in the past few years.) The only significant lifestyle changes I have made are choosing vegetarianism, and I am also thinking that lack of protein in my body could be causing this.

    • ANSWER:
Poor circulation is a possibility, but there is also this disorder known as hyperhydrosis in which your hands and feet sweat constantly and are cold almost all of the time. This also messes with your body temperature in 2 different ways. You can either be always hot or either be always cold.

  13. QUESTION:
    Clamy feet and hands.?
I have this problem with really clammy hands and feet. I've had it since I was in middle school (I'm 16 now) and I was wondering what it could be. My feet are often ice cold and sweaty and so are my hands. It doesn't seem to be caused by stress but stress does worsen it. I was wondering if there is a reason for this and what can be done to cure it. I'm pretty healthy (knock on wood) and no one in my family has anything similar. Please help!

  14. QUESTION:
    Pheochromocytoma question?
Anyone else suffer from it or know someone who has it?

Are these symptoms common with Pheo?

Pallor, Loss of Weight, Constant Anxiety, Sinus Tachycardia, Colour change to nail beds, thinning of skin, dark circles under eyes, chest/arm pain, indigestion/burping, dark patches on skin, small lumps under skin, occasional elevation in blood pressure, cold sweaty hands and feet, trembling, loss of balance, visual disturbances and dilation of pupils?

    What causes Pheo?
Thanks for your answers, I have had a number of blood tests but not sure if the Pheo would show up. Doc... Can you tell me if it would show up in the following tests (i.e. abnormal levels):-
    Full Blood Count
    Thyroid Function (TSH)
    T4 and TFT Free
    Serum Calcuim
    Serum Potassium
    Serum Sodium
    Liver Function
    Kidney Function
    Urine Sample (basic test)
    Creatinine
    Urea and Electrolytes
    EGFR
    Random Glucose
    Albumin
    Serum Bilirubin
    Folate
    Blood Cultures

    Chest X Ray
    ECG

These are all tests I have done recently, FBC has been done three times, I've had 2 ECG's and my Thyroid tests have been done today for a 4th time as all the previous levels were normal.
Medicinenet.com is useful but it is an American site and some of the tests done in the UK are different to America, like the T3 test, you have to pester the GP's here for that test and they are still reluctant to do it. An MRI over here if routine would take up to 3 months to get the appointment.

    • ANSWER:
There is a small gland above the kidneys which is known as the suprarenal or adrenal gland. It is a hormone producing factory which synthesizes very important hormones for our body. Its inner portion is known as 'medulla' . the inner portion synthesizes epinephrine/adrenaline, which is a hormone required for 3f reaction (fright, fight and flight) or in other words whenever one gets in danger this hormones comes to the rescue.
Think of this situation as if u r walking down an empty street at night and suddenly 3 wild dogs start chasing u. U d run like hell, sweat a lot and all the blood in ur body d get diverted to skeletal muscle, heart and brain, which d inevitably push the blood pressure to higher level. These r the basic symptoms of pheochromocytoma.

Pheochromocytoma occurs when the cells of adrenal medulla are converted into a tumor/neoplasm and start secreting epinephrine even when it is not required by the body, cause is usually unknown/idiopathic.

Surest way of knowing it is that if u get tested for it. Standard blood tests d give a hint but ct scan of abdomen is much more sensitive in picking it up.

Let me know if you have any knowledge about hormonal imbalance or diabetes or some other thing, that might be causing this.

    • ANSWER:
I have the same problem. You most likely have poor circulation. You can easily identify this by looking at your fingernails. If you are missing the little white moons and the bottoms of your fingernails (not thumb nails) then you have a circulation problem. I only have tiny moons on my index fingers, but I'm missng the rest. I feel for you because I hate having freezing hands and feet all the time.

    • ANSWER:
You should go to the doctor and explain your symptoms. However, I suffer from migraines, hyperhydrosis(this is a sweating condition) which there is not alot you can do about this, and I was thirsty alot too. I am a diabetic, but this does not mean you are. These symptoms are very general and can be caused by many different conditions. They may not even be related. I would suggest a doctor visit for you. I do have a hyperhydrosis article on my webiste at www.womensventandview.com if you want to read more about that.

      Good Luck!

  17. QUESTION:
1.)What is the key objective when writing a paragraph on synthesis? 2.)Do you feel the author was effective? A?
1.)What is the key objective when writing a paragraph on synthesis? 2.)Do you feel the author was effective? A synthesis pulls together information from two or more sources to make a new point that the individual sources have not provided. For example, the student who wrote the above analysis interviewed her male and female student friends and wrote a paper that compared her fi ndings to those of the studies cited in Discovering Psychology. Because she wanted to understand the hassles that people experience and the symptoms that they cause, she incorporated additional information from published research. In Discovering Psychology, Hockenbury and Hockenbury present evidence that males and females react to different sources of stress and respond differently to them. The studies they use as evidence discuss only married couples, however, and they provide few details about the actual kinds and symptoms of stress. Several other studies, as well as original research done among unmarried college students, provide some additional insights into these questions. In an article on stress published in Encarta, Gramling and Auerbach provide many examples of daily hassles that they claim affect adults ingeneral, including “living in a noisy neighborhood, commuting to work in heavy traffi c, disliking one’s fellow workers, standing in long lines, and worrying about owing money.” The Web site Diabetes at Work gives a list of the “Top 10 Daily Hassles,” among them illness of a family member, home repairs, too many things to do, and crime. Neither of these sources mentions gender differences in the types of hassles reported. Gramling and Auerbach list many symptoms of stress. These include nail biting, cold or sweaty hands and feet, dry mouth, and increased heart rate. Diabetes at Work adds muscle tension, upset stomach, shortness of breath, and back pain to the list of physical symptoms and forgetfulness, trouble concentrating, trouble making decisions, and short temper to the psychological symptoms. Again, though, neither source mentioned gender differences. To these sources, I added interviews with eight friends — four men and four women — who all reported these top fi ve daily hassles: worries about money, transportation problems, waiting in lines, unfair bosses, and automated phone systems that take forever and never get you an answer. The only signifi cant difference in the kind of hassles reported by the men and women I talked to was that several women (but not men) mentioned worries about physical safety (for example, while traveling home from school at night). When I asked my friends to report how they dealt with their stress, they seemed to confi rm the Hockenburys’ claim that women’s stress spills into the family and men tend to withdraw. Two men reported no psychological symptoms of stress, whereas the remaining six people (four women and two men) emphasized both psychological and physical symptoms. These sources suggest that there might be some gender differences in the hassles that people experience and the symptoms that result from these hassles, but they might not be as major as the Hockenburys’ passage led me to expect. Most of the stresses mentioned seem to be caused by having to do too much in too little time. Perhaps this is a comment on the quality of modern life, which affects both men and women equally.

    • ANSWER:
"Synthesis" is a dishonest way of saying "conceptualizing". It makes it sound as if there is more to the process.

"A concept is a mental integration of two or more units which are isolated by a process of abstraction and united by a specific definition. By organizing his perceptual material into concepts, and his concepts into wider and still wider concepts, man is able to grasp and retain, to identify and integrate an unlimited amount of knowledge, a knowledge extending beyond the immediate concretes of any given, immediate moment."
      Ayn Rand

That is how "synthesis" works, but apparently when Kant and others tried to create their philosophical systems, explaining the process of conceptualizing wasn't enough for them. It doesn't matter that it may be an entire academic paper we're talking about, rather than just one little concept. The point remains that the subject of the paper is only once concept, when you look for the axiomatic concept upon which that paper rests.

"The assault on man’s conceptual faculty has been accelerating since Kant, widening the breach between man’s mind and reality. The cognitive function of concepts was undercut by a series of grotesque devices—such, for instance, as the “analytic-synthetic” dichotomy which, by a route of tortuous circumlocutions and equivocations, leads to the dogma that a “necessarily” true proposition cannot be factual, and a factual proposition cannot be “necessarily” true."
      Rand

Authoring a non-fictional paper requires the same elements as fiction, except for one. It requires a central theme, which may be the axiomatic concept; or it may be various subjects abstracted from that theme. The one element non-fiction cannot have in common with fiction is the necessity of the reader to search for his "suspension of disbelief". You are not supposed to suspend your disbelief when reading fiction.

Other than that, conceptualization (synthesis) is, as Rand and many other artists of all types have pointed out, a recreation of reality based on what the artist (author, doctor, academician) wants to put into it.

  18. QUESTION:
    High body temp?
Not the take your temp when your sick kind. I'm always feeling hot and sweaty esp my hands feet and legs. I used to always have cold feet and hands, and about 3 years ago I been getting warmer. I have always lived in VA, and the winters are about 20-30 F and the summers are 80-100 F and such. Right now its like 70-80 and I'm way uncomfortable. My gf says that I always feel hot when I rub her feet, back, or if we are holding hands. When playing vid games, every i know's hands get cold, while mine sweat and I have to wipe off my controller. What causes your skin/body temp to change? At work when its 60+ i have to go stand in the freezer to cool off at times.

    • ANSWER:
Have you gained weight recently by any chance? I know when I weighed 90 lb heavier, I use to be like that. Now I find it fairly rare for me to sweat when it's under 80F, where before I had to have it under 70F for me to be comfortable.

If you haven't gained weight and maybe even find it hard to stop losing weight, your thyroid might be a bit off. It might be something to go see your doctor about in this case.

  19. QUESTION:
    Why am I CONSTANTLY sweaty!?
I know, disgusting. I hate it like HELL...but my whole body is always sweaty. It's mostly my hands, feet, and underarms, though. Most of the time they are just plain sweaty dispite room temperature, but sometime they get really REALLY cold and sweaty. Sometimes to the point where I feel like I have to wrap myself in blankets and take a hot shower to feel better. It actually makes me cold all over. I also have a sort of sensitivity to temperature (but that's not always the cause of the sweating.) I get cold and hot VERY easily and it doesn't help the constant sweating at ALL. I have tried EVERYTHING. (Prescription strength,prescription...etc.) Nothing is helping me and i am tired of changing clothes every three hours and stuffing tissue paper under my arms. It's embarrassing, gross, and it's starting to really piss me off (pardon my French.)
Uh,that's kind of a rude question to ask but no. I'm not fat.

I DO have hyperhydrosis. I just have know Iidea what to do anymore. My doc suggested surgury a while ago.

  20. QUESTION:
Why do I have sweaty palms? Any remedies?
I'm a 14 y/o girl, and for as long as I can remember, I've had sweaty palms. I don't mean a little moisture from time to time; I have really sweaty palms almost all the time. It's embarrassing, and such a pain! I can't shake hands with people, and holding hands is something I dread doing; whenever I do either, the person looks disgusted! I go to a Catholic school, and we often have Mass during school hours. We shake hands with people, hold hands during the Our Father...But strangely, this seems to be one of the few times when I don't have a lot of sweat. It's strange, because I was reading an online article, and another person said the same thing about sweating in church. Maybe this is because church is a calming, peaceful place where I don't feel so anxious?

As for anxiety, this definitely could be a factor. I've been diagnosed with a minor anxiety disorder, and I do worry an awful lot. Alternatively, it could have something to do with my diet. I've been a vegetarian since I was 9, and according to my aunt, who is a nutritionist, protein deficiency can cause a lot of problems, especially in teens.

Anyway, I've had this problem for a very long time. I get cold, clammy hands and feet all the time. It's strange, because I'll be doing something, and then all of a sudden, I realize that my hands aren't sweating; but right then, they'll start sweating again!

Does anyone know of any cures/remedies? Or might anyone know some of the causes of this problem?

    • ANSWER:
I'm not a doctor, but you sound like me. I've had sweaty palms for my entire life - and like you said, not clammy hands, legitimately dripping, pretty nasty stuff. (I once melted my friend's silly putty by playing with it for too long.) I don't want to downplay any of the things you said - it's totally logical that this could be related to your anxiety. But if it's almost constant, and really heavy, you might have what I have.
It's called hyperhidrosis, which is just a fancy name for lots of (hyper) sweating (hydrosis). The best thing I can tell you to do is find a dermatologist in your area who actually is familiar with it. www.sweathelp.org is a great site to help you do this and to read about the condition more. There are treatments, but they vary depending on how much you sweat and how much you want to do to fix the problem. Surgery (not recommended because you start sweating heavily from other places to make up for your now dry hands) is an extreme option, but others include clinical strength anti-perspirants to try rubbing on your hands (you'd have to see a dermatologist, it's not just like rubbing clinical strength Dove or something), and something called Iontophoresis, which you can read more about on the site (this is my option of choice, though it's not that convenient - if you have questions about it you can sent me a msg).

So far there doesn't seem like there's a permanant fix for this (ex, my hands are always gross when I use a computer, nothing I can do about it) but there are definitely options to help you out. Find a dermatologist and ask away! Don't stop if one dr hasn't heard of it - it's definitely out there and there are people who know about it. Good luck!!

  21. QUESTION:
Why do I have sweaty palms? What can I do to treat/cure/control the problem?

By the way, I'm going to a dance this weekend. I'm a freshman, and it'll be my first one. My boyfriend's going to be there so I'd like a remedy that will be accessible by then.

    • ANSWER:
it could be because your anxious or stressed, as for church i think your right maybe your stress free in there so you don't sweat. im not sure how you can cure it, maybe go to a doctor and ask them because they are more likely to know about it.

and by the way you answered my question, and the person i drew; Paloma Faith she's a singer :) and shes amazing look her up on youtube.

  22. QUESTION:
Whats up with me? Help please?
I'm going to see a doctor next week. My symptoms are: always warm (not feverish but warm), fatigue, and sweaty hands and feet most of the time. My hands will get clammy. I've been doing some research i don't think its hyperhidrosis, as this usually comes with cold, clammy body parts. My feet and hands are warm to the touch and i get hot very easily. I've only noticed this in the past couple months or so. I started to have sweaty feet and hands (mild id say) beginning of this year.

So my guesses are Hyperhidrosis, Hyperthyriodism, or Hormone imbalance of some sort. I can only really narrow it done to these. Maybe i just have a High core temperature. But why is this only appearing now. Im 18 and this only began after turning 17. I was fine up till then. Any help guys.

Also, im quite slim. Fatigue could be due to me being inactive of late. And i dont drink much water which may be a cause as well..

    Any thoughts, thanks

    • ANSWER:
For sweaty feet, soak in a vinegar water hot bath for about a week, every night for about twenty minutes. That will seal the pores and maybe help. After you soak and dry your feet thoroughly, powder them even corn starch will help. Gold Bond makes a powder in a blue canister that is also soothing and helpful. This is an annoying problem, but need not be medicalized.

  25. QUESTION:
    Help what do i do?
I think i have an anxiety disorder. Im 12 and i want to talk to my guidance councelor but i dont know how. Do i ask my home room teacher for a pass? and what do i say to her? here are my symptoms i got them off of webmd

Social anxiety disorder : Also called social phobia, social anxiety disorder involves overwhelming worry and self-consciousness about everyday social situations. The worry often centers on a fear of being judged by others, or behaving in a way that might cause embarrassment or lead to ridicule.

Generalized anxiety disorder : This disorder involves excessive, unrealistic worry and tension, even if there is little or nothing to provoke the anxiety.

Feelings of panic, fear and uneasiness
    Uncontrollable, obsessive thoughts
    Cold or sweaty hands
An inability to be still and calm
Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
    Nausea

    please help

    • ANSWER:
Hi there! Well first of all you named two disorders....Social anxiety and Generalized anxiety are very different.
If you think you have Social anxiety your symptoms should be similar to those you write first - fear of being judged, fear of being center of the attention, extreme shyness, uncomfertability in all social situations, confusion, unexplainable fear etc. And from physical symptoms you should feel: like you gonna have a heart attack, fast heart beating, hyperventilating, shaking/trembling all over, sweating etc.

If this is what you have then you are right, it is Social Phobia.
My advice to you is to say it to somebody so you can get help in treating it. It is curable and you are not the only one who has it - it is very common problem, so don't worry. But it takes time to recover. So start with it as soon as possible because if not treated fear can grow and you might have only bigger problems (people are always afraid of the things they don't know).

My fiance has SA and I know how it goes...luckly, he is now on his way of recovery :) (not to dare the devil)

DON'T try treating yourself with ANY kind of medications that you can read about on internet...ONLY doctor can do that, as you can make things even worse! Please be careful with it!

Speak to who you can, just say what you asume and ask for help to deal with it better...Everyone would be glad to help.

If you need someone to talk to or ask anything else feel free to write me:
      lina_girl06@yahoo.com

I'll be glad to help if i can...

      All the best!

    • ANSWER:
I think you have dysphoria, which tends to be long-term. It is a step above full-blown depression, and tends to leave one feeling flat. Your anxiety could be part of it, or might be Generalized Anxiety Disorder, which can affect many body functions, including circulation and poor appetite.

I would go to my primary care doctor for a physical (to check for low thyroid, anemias, etc.) and if the results show you are healthy, which I doubt, given your diet, he would then give you a referral to a psychiatrist. When you see either doctor bring this list with you. It will save time and get you a more precise diagnosis more quickly.

Your psychiatrist will get a mental history from you, find out how you're feeling now, and may administer some written tests for depression. He will probably give you medication to take. If it doesn't work within two weeks, call back and let him know. He can try you on a medication from another class of meds.

I hope you are feeling better soon. Good luck!!

  27. QUESTION:
Hot feet and trembling hands after running and a shower?
That happened a couple of days ago. I spent the morning (9am-1pm) outdoors playing basketball. Not continuously. I think only 20% of my time was spent actually playing, the rest was spent talking (:

Later on I went for a 3-4miler (maybe about 5k?) at about 6pm. It wasn't a very hardcore run. Moderate speed.

After that I couldn't stand having been sticky and gross all day so I jumped into the shower about 5 minutes after my run. I guess I wasn't really thinking at that point in time 'cause my mother said I would get spots from showering when still sweaty.

But what was weird was that after I got out of the (cold) shower my body was still burning hot, especially my feet! I stuck them in a bucket of cold water with ice cubes but I didn't cool completely until after a few hours.

Also, at dinner my hands were trembling. My sister called it overexertion but I'm sure I didn't overexert. So what could be the problem?

    • ANSWER:
The trembling hands can be due to a lack of potassium or just dehydration. The feet can also be attributed to the same reason.

  28. QUESTION:
Pressure in head due to anxiety?
When I'm talking infront of a large group of people, or my friends in general, or even on the phone, the pressure on the right side of my head tends to rise, I get a "being detached from reality" feeling but I remain concious and vigilant-and there is a lot of throbbing (not painful) in the temporal lobe right by the ear, this usually goes away when I relax, but I hate it, because it gives me more anxiety, makes me more dizzy and causes me to drop something I still feel like doing, also, my feet and hands get cold and sweaty, wtf? honestly-KonstantinO
Please don't tell me to go see a doctor immediately because I did and my blood pressure was slightly elivated, but ecg tests of the kidneys and heart are fine, an mri came through ok about a year ago

    • ANSWER:
It's all anxiety I had that same exact feeling too!

  29. QUESTION:
    Hands won't stop sweating?
I fu*king hate my hands. They sweat 24 seven. And it is so annoying. It can be -2 outside and they will still fu*cking sweat. Its horrible. I can NEVER touch somebody else's hand or anything because it disgusts them. I hate it. And whats worse is that when my hand sweats, its like a trigger for my armpit and legs and feet to sweat, which makes it so uncomfortable. I am sick of it. The only time my hands are dry is when I wake up and maybe 1 hour after that. otherwise it has to be extremely cold outside for them to be normal. My hands are usually freezing cold. But then again thats barely noticable because their usually sweating like f*** as usual. I cannot make them stop unless I sleep. Its so irritating. And embarassing. I have a crush on some girl at school, but I keep reminding myself I could never get close because my hands are so sweaty. Their not so bad as I can't hold a pencil. But their bad enough as to make it that I need to wipe my hands every 10 second or shake them around to cool them off. It makes everything worse. As i t starts my armpits to sweat then my shirt is damp where the armpit is and its so embarrasing. I usually have a sweater that masks that but doesn't cover the hands. Also it causes my feet and legs to sweat., That makes is even worse. My feet arn't a problem as their in shoes and the shoes don't really stink. But my legs make the back of my pants damp which is horrible when I'm sitting as people can notice. I have to sit at the edge of the chair to keep cool and it doesn't always work. Why can't someone tell me WHYY it happens to me. If their was a sweat organ I would annihilate it. It's not so much as I'm concerned by now, just absolutely furious

    • ANSWER:
I don't bother to read this. but from hands sweating, one thing I know about this is it got something to do with the Heart problem. There might something wrong with your heart and I mean it literally.

I once have this problem too, when I begun to follow doctor advice to exercise more, get my heart to beat at stable rate. Now I don't have this problem anymore.

  31. QUESTION:
What should I tittle this poem? Other suggestions? Warning: very long?
Cheesy-ish poem about a crush, suggestions (mostly for a tittle) are very much welcome as I have never really written this kind of poem. Most of my poems are about slightly more negative emotions like depression or anger. Here goes:

I remember the first time that I saw you
You were wearing a polka dot tie
Your eyes were like blue ice chips
    Surprisingly tropical
    Glinting in the sun
I remember seeing you again this summer
In the freezing dark you hugged me
And I never felt so warm
    Then there was that time
I took your flannel shirt back to the shelter
    I carefully looked around
    No one was there
So I smelt it, you smell like woodsmoke
    Cozy and musky
    I was embarrassed
But I needed to memorize that scent
    I remember you telling me
That I talk in my sleep
    That me and another camper
    Had sleep conversations
    I certainly remember the time
I put duct tape on my mouth
    Because I was afraid of
    What I was talking about
    I remember...
    Us arguing about baseball teams
Your love for the Red Socks
    My love for the Yankees
In my mind I liked to think
That this was similar to Romeo
    And Juliet
I remember you shaving my mohawk
    For the very first time
Telling my stories, all the while
When you ran away from home
    Because your parents wouldn't
    Let you get one
When you wore chucks to prom
The times you get mad at your mom
    'Cause she washes your carhartts
And you like to let them age
I remember your big orange head joke
No one got it at first
    But when it hit me
    I couldn't stop laughing
    I remember your rye smile
    Contagious as can be
    You telling me off
    For eating to fast
    Saying my luck
    Might not last
    Watching you knit hats
    And you wore mine
    In my fedora
    You liked mighty fine
    I remember holding your hand
    Standing in the circle
    My hands were clammy
    And sweaty, and cold
    Yours were softly calloused
    And warm, like a fire
    Like the sun
    I didn't hear a single announcement
    Didn't hear a single word
I was to busy keeping calm
Trying not to shake with nerves
On my last day of camp
    I left you a note
    I only had the courage
Because I wouldn't be seeing you again
Not for a while at least
I made close to a hundred rough drafts
And I left it on your pillow
These are just a few of the things
I wish I had said instead of
    “Your really cool,
    My favorite counselor”
I remember concentrating on your feet
Because you were wearing a two piece
    It was light blue
I learned how to say your name and I love in sign language
That's how my friends and I would commute
I remember finding out you know sign language, woops...
I remember you telling me how you
    Envision me as an adult
I agree, I would go camping
    With twenty pounds of s'mores
I offered to do every chore
    On our trip
    Probably to impress you
But I'd never let you know
I guess thats just the way that crushing goes
    I remember hiking nine miles
    In the pouring rain
And not noticing the pain of five blisters
Because I was just to entertained
Thinking of you, and the way you drive me insane
Haha, I like the idea for "Warning: Too long" I have a bad habbit of turning poems into three page long rants that never seem to get to the point. I have I think decided on "Duct Tape" though.
Actually I think I'm going with "Duct Tape: The Way Crushing Goes"

    • ANSWER:
      "Warning: Too Long."
      "Just Another Poem."
      "I Stalk You."

  32. QUESTION:
    I haven't been feeling myself?
For two months now, I have felt sick and not like I used to feel all the time. It seems that ever since I threw up 2 months ago, I have felt this way. Soon after that I got a viral infection and felt nauseous all the time and it stuck with me since then. Here is how it sort of went:
One afternoon at school I was sitting with my friends at lunch and I had spaghetti thinking nothing of it. I felt fine for the last period but then when school got out and I was walking to my mom's car, I started feeling sick. I was kind of confused and worried, but I got in and went home. I was wicked tired and felt so gross so I took a nap. When I woke up I felt completely sick to my stomach and didn't want to go anywhere, but I had to go out to my mom's friend's house. In the car on the way there I felt sick, and then when I got to her friend's house I started getting really hot, clammy, shaky, sweaty and nauseous. I ran to the bathroom terrified because I am deathly afraid of vomiting and I almost threw up but forced it down. When I got home, I had a horrific stomach ache that lasted 8 hours and then I had that feeling again. Because I couldn't stand considering the stomach ache, I thought I could crawl or something to the door for cold air, but I moved the wrong way and I vomited. Then my dad found spaghetti in it. So I thought it was lunch, but then the next time I went to school I didn't eat much because I was just sick so I just had water practically all day. I started eating a bit again but not like I was before I was sick. I was skeptical about everything I ate and I still am. I hung out with my friends the first 1-2 weeks when school ended feeling great - I was swimming every day and laughing all the time. Then on her trampoline I hurt my back, and like 2 days after that I started feeling blah and didn't want to do anything. Then I got a viral infection and felt like I was going to throw up all the time which made me cry and worry. I tried praying and getting better but the next day or week or month I would either feel worse or the same. Since then I have felt this:
    -Nausea
    -Loss of appetite
    -Fatigue
    -Anxiety
    -Depression
-Hot throughout shoulders, upper back and neck
-My jaw is clenched most of the time
    -Clammy hands, feet, underarms
    -Trouble swallowing
    -Shakes
I have gone to the doctor 3 or 4 times but all they can say is it's anxiety.
(Also, I normally go to bed around midnight or later so that may be a factor)
I keep trying to tell them it's not, like maybe a little but that's not all true. Like, when I want to eat, I won't or can't. My doctor doesn't know what is causing this. She said it could be a mix of different things and I'm not sure if it's heat, PMS, anxiety, depression I just don't know and it's scaring me because it has been going on for so long. I haven't gone over my friends house in two months because I don't feel well and I'm paranoid about vomiting and getting more sick or something bad happening. Also, school is starting so soon and that gets me very worried. I'm also not sure if I could feel this way from grief because soon after I heard my dad's best friend died (Rest in peace <3 We all loved him so much) I stayed up 'till one am crying and then 2,3 days later, I became sick and felt weird. I'm really sorry this was so long, but thank you to all who took the time to read it and help me. I just don't know what to do :'(
Ps. After reading an answer I should put that I have had 2 blood tests done now and everything came back negative except for one thing which came back positive, but she said the increase in something (I completely forget the name of this chemical, but it has to do with bones and another thing) was higher than usual, but she said it was from my bones which could be because I'm having a growth spurt. Could that bea factor?

    • ANSWER:
Your doctor needs to start running tests until she can conclude that there is no physical reason for these symptoms.

It sounds a lot like anxiety, but I wouldn't believe it until it's proven that the virus is gone, there are no other infections, the thyroid is right, no mono...everything she can think of. Run the tests.

  33. QUESTION:
Why does my boyfriend sweat all the time ?
Like in winter he will be fine , but if he walks somewhere , the corner store, he gets sweaty even when it is below zero and he is cold.

Or he says he will be fine when he is walking then when he gets home or wherever he is going and he "stops walking" thats when he will start sweating.

And the summer forget about it , he just sweats standing in the heat.

He sweats from his Head , which is shaved would that have something to do with it ? His hands , back , feet , buttocks , armpits ect...

My poor guy ;( I feel so bad for him is there anything you can buy in the store to stop this ?

What causes this ? People say to drink alot of water , wouldnt the water make you sweat ? Because when you sweat it is water that you are sweating ? Right ?

There is no cure for this ?

    • ANSWER:
It could just be his genetics. I'm exactly like your boyfriend. I sweat just by sitting in the heat, all over my body. Nothing he or you can do. Drinking water hydrates the body... I don't know anything about sweating the water out... Water get exits the body when you urinate, not when you sweat.

  34. QUESTION:

  35. QUESTION:
What are your thoughts on my writing? Please read?
I really appreciate any opinions and/or constructive criticism :)

The heat was unbearable as always. The sun was high in the sky, causing everything to look far too bright. The air was thick with dust and the streets were deserted. It wasn't a sweaty kind of warmth, it wasn't like being on holiday. It was dry, the earth was cracked and flaky. The Sergeant at base had said it was to reach 45 degrees today and in the midday sun, every move was an effort. It didn't help that in total the weight I was carrying only weighed around 7kgs less than me. My rifle was hot in my hands from the midday sun and as I looked around to my best mate Dan, that was when I saw it. It whistled through the air and exploded with a deafening thud, throwing me to the ground. The next thing I was aware of were the screams. Someone, somewhere was roaring in agony, they needed my help. Panic made my throat constrict, fighting for breath I struggled to my feet, hearing that all too familiar crack and thump of gunfire.

I staggered through the lingering smoke towards the casualty as I heard "man down" over the radio. I ran closer to him, feeling like something out of a horror film. Where his left leg should have been, there was a bloody mass with part of the thigh bone sticking out, the rest was gone. He was howling in agony, his face was badly burnt and his chest was heaving as he struggled for breath. "Mate, your alright. Shhhhh, there there." My voice sounded distant, foreign even to myself.  I applied a tourniquet to his damaged leg with shaking fingers and administered morphine in hope of easing his pain. I removed his helmet to reveal his strawberry blond hair, instantly I knew who he was. Andy Campbell was the joker of the group, the thief, the troublemaker and everybody's best friend. His girlfriend was expecting a baby and at 23 he was desparate to become a dad. His face was pale and he was whimpering, his fingers trembling "My eyes, they're on fire, aaaaaargh they're burning, help me, please please make it stop" he begged. "Shhhhh you're ok, Dan and Chris'll be here soon with a stretcher, shhh" I held his hand, powerless until further help arrived. Within half an hour he was being loaded onto a helicopter to take him to hospital, the morphine had done it's job and he was quieter now, whimpering occaisionally, but much calmer. I stepped back feeling drained, my knees were weak and the past half hour had been a surreal blur. People were patting me on the back, saying good job, pulling me into hugs. But I was struggling to balance, I staggered from side to side as the world began spinning at a sickening pace. My vision started to cloud over and my dry tongue stuck in my throat. "Samuels! How much have you had to drink today?" the sergeant's voice was sharp, alert. "SAMUELS! are you listening? Get that water down your neck NOW!" the bellowing sergeant shoved the water bottle into my shaking hand. As I gulped the warm water down, grains of sand washed against my teeth and down my raw throat. In the heat of a contact it was easy to forget to drink.

When we arrived back at the relative safety of the patrol base, people were already sorting through Andy's stuff and folding away his cot. I stepped into the makeshift shower fully clothed and sweating. The cool water trickling down my neck, soaking my clothes and body was strangely soothing. I tilted my head back, letting the water run down my face, washing away the sand that had gathered around my nose and mouth. For the first time in days I felt calm. I let my head fall forward and the water drip off of my face, that was when I saw it. I wanted to scream. The once pleasant cold water became piercing, I was shivering and I felt sick. Andy's blood had turned the water red as it drained away, my combats were saturated with it. The smell filled my nostrils and the images of the day filled my mind like a broken DVD, forever on repeat..

    Six months later

As I walked down the street with a million thoughts running through my head, it occurred to me, he might not even live here anymore. If he did, he'd probably have moved on with his life, have a decent job and a decent girlfriend, he might not even want to know me. "But that's ok, I'll still love him" I told myself. I had to see him, I needed more than the memories that faded like smoke in the wind, because without them, I had nothing.

I rounded the corner and the back of his house came into view, one side of the tree-house had collapsed, the wood splintered and the paintwork faded and cracked. The hedge was overgrown and untidy and the grass needed cut. The muddy football boots and trainers were missing from the back door, the place looked sad and neglected. I clung on to the picture of him in my head, his dark blue eyes, defined cheekbones and his messy brown hair.

    Thanks! Please t
I'll add more if you'd like, I've just realised the second part stops in a really stupid place because of the character limit thingy. In case you're wondering it's about a girl soldier who, on completing her tour of Afghanistan, goes in search of all the people who loved her, including her ex boyfriend from when she was at school. It's sort of a love story, but more about people growing apart and how we seem to hurt the people we love most, would you read it?

    • ANSWER:
Well as a rule of thumb, any mention of weather in the first paragraph is cliche. Plus, did you mean 45 degrees celsius? Because farenheit is kind of cold - and in a quick google search, in celsius it would be 113 degrees farenheit. Yikes. Finding and helping the injured man would be a better hook.

Not a bad start though, keep it up and good luck!

Please tell me what you think of my writing?
My story is of a young girl who left home to join the army. After a tough 6 months she return to her hometown hoping to see her old boyfriend, only to discover that she isn't the only one who has struggled the past two years. Here goes:

    Prologue

The heat was unbearable as always. The sun was high in the sky, causing everything to look far too bright. The air was thick with dust and the streets were deserted. It wasn't a sweaty kind of warmth, it wasn't like being on holiday. It was dry, the earth was cracked and flaky. The Sergeant at base had said it was to reach 45 degrees today and in the midday sun, every move was an effort. • ANSWER:
It's good, the sense of struggle and danger you put in the beginning always attracts readers. You keep having allusions which is good so that readers have a sense of what your character is going through even if they've never been on a battlefield or accident. I find you take your time with the details and stretch out dramatic scenes, this is not a bad thing just your writing style.

  39. QUESTION:
How does this story sound so far?
The last thing I wanted to deal with today was to come home to find my little sister shouting at the wall.
Her little hands were in fists, and her strawberry blonde hair shielded her face looking like a crazy woman. She sat with her legs crossed, huddled in the corner of the dining room.
“Go away you!” She growled with her tiny voice. “I told you, I don’t like you anymore!”
I stared at her in shock. Slowly, I crossed the dining room and dropped my jacket and backpack on the table.
“Willow,” I gulped. “What are you doing?”
She turned around and scowled. “Lily, the boy won’t leave me alone and I don’t like him!” She stood up, and dusted off her white sun dress. “He’s a meany.”
My eyes trailed from my sister over to the wall. There was nothing but the familiar red wallpaper.
“There’s nothing there, Willow.” I said flatly.
“Well, he’s gone now. But he was here before- I saw him.” She insisted.
A lump began to grow in my throat and my palms grew sweaty.
“Willow,” I began. “Why don’t you go into the kitchen and I’ll make you a snack in a few minutes. You can have Oreos.”
Willow’s frown instantly changed into a wide smile. “Can I have double stuffed Oreos?” She squeaked.
    I nodded.
Willow waltzed out of the room and skipped towards the kitchen, humming all the way there.
Slowly, I turned around to face the red wallpaper where my sister was just standing. I traced my fingers across it, and closed my eyes. Suddenly, fear rippled through my veins. I felt cold air rush through me, causing the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up. I opened my eyes and gasped. This was not good. Not good at all.
    I needed my older sister.
I raced out of the room and crossed the living room. I sped up the stairs, nearly tripping over my own feet. I heard music coming from down the hall in the sister’s room. I trampled down the hall, pushed open the door, and collapsed onto the hardwood floor.
“LILY! OH MY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” My sister was sprawled out on her giant purple queen bed, listening to music and doing her homework. She switched off her stereo.
    “It’s, it’s”- I stuttered. I huffed, and took a deep breath. “Willow.”
Arabella stood up, alarmed. “What happened? Is she okay?”
I nodded, reassuringly. After a minute, I calmed down and stood up. I faced her and sighed. Deep down, I knew this was going to happen eventually. But I couldn’t grasp the fact that the nightmare had begun.
“Willow was talking to the wall. She was shouting at it.” I whispered.
Arabella’s face was twisted with confusion and disbelief. “Wait-what?” She gasped. “But, it, it couldn’t be.”
I grabbed her shoulders and stared into her green eyes. “Arabella,” I asserted. “It happened to us, and now it’s happening to her.
“She’s 4 years old for god sake’s Lily!” She snapped. “Little kids have imaginary friends.”
I shook my head. “Whatever she was talking to was no imaginary friend.”
Tears began to spring in my sister’s eyes. I looked away, as my emotions got the best of me too. I hated to see my sister cry. She was so strong, and she tried her hardest in everything she did. After all we went through, after the battles we fought together as a team, the horror was starting all over again.
“This can’t be happening.” She whispered so quietly, I almost couldn’t hear her.

This really caught my attention, and I want to know what happens next and I also want to know why Lily and Arabella were freaking out about Willow shouting at the "imaginary friend". Keep going!

  40. QUESTION:
Excessive sweating in winter/summer caused by the slightest physical movement?
Hello, I am a male 18 years of age. I do not recall having any problems related to the following before the age of 12-13-14. I have sweating from armpits, sometimes back, feet and palms. Does not matter what time of year, I tried walking to school in a t-shirt (10 minute casual relaxed walk) when it was 10 degrees celcius outside, and by the time I got to school every part of my body not covered by clothing was frozen but my armpits were starting to sweat anyway. I can be totally relaxed while siting, although as soon as I start writing with one hand, that particular hand's arm pit becomes sweaty. Once I start sweating a little bit it takes at least 40 minutes for drops of sweat to stop coming out through the pores completely. During summer I wear sandals and shorts, a constant wind either dries off the sweat right away leaving no wetness or odor or keeps me cool enough not to sweat much. I drink at least 5 small waterbottles per day and take drinks of water when ever I can. I have vigorous physical activity (work out, running for 3-4 hours, judo, skiing) at least 4 times a week. During those times I sweat non stop, and I drink a lot of water before excersize. I never eat junk food because it drains my energy and thinks like a pack of chips results in some ache. When my back sweats and I am wearing a backpack or am sitting in class leaning on a chair I get some ache on my back too, in the areas where anything that touches my clothes. I am guessing in those areas my pores get blocked by what ever substances there are (Even though I take a warm/cold shower every morning). I wear clean clothes every single time, mostly because after a day my t-shirt and anything over it is 30% drenched in sweat. I do not mind sweating and I love sweating during physical exersize, but on times when I need to be in class, in a restaurant, on a date, a walk in the park, I am tired of having big wet stains in my arm pits. When I exersize often the smell dissapears but the wet stains are still there. I used to think this is some sort of nervous system malfunction more than anything else - until i did many experiments and saw that in a very relaxed state I can start swearing as long as I make my muscles work. Just sitting in a chair and leaning my head on my arm may trigger arm pit sweating. I can feel drops of sweat drip down the side of my body a few minutes into gently leaning on my arm (which is placed on a table). After a shower in the morning, I can go to a certain point in the day just fine. At that point (can be at any time of the day) if i start sweating a few drops, even if it stops, the chance of sweating exessivly again for any slightest movement such as walking greatly increases. Please doctor, instead of telling me about prescriptions, anti antiperspirants and surgery, can you recommend some ways I can: make sure that my thyroid gland is not malfunctioning, how to improve my nervous system, what supplements (such as zink and vitamin C) should intake to prevent triggering sweating easily, and in what quantities? PS: I came out of the shower before I started writing this message; my arms are resting on my table only my fingers are moving to type, I seem as calm and as relaxed/care free as I ever was, yet in these 5 minutes my armpits are already wet; no drops of sweat are dripping but the whole armpit area is wet enough to leave a clear stain on a paper towel. Thank you!

    And hope for something better
    Baby here’s my love letter
Behind the make up and the Marlyn Monroe duplication

    This feeling is something impairing
Within every beat you make my heart sing and it’s kind of scary
Since I’m thinking you will leave me by my self
Starring at the ceiling, trapped inside a cell
My angle, thank you for leading me out of hell
You’re the main reason my wings grew
Sweetie can’t you tell, I thought you knew
    I recognize this tactile well

Storming in my life asking where the door is
All these butterflies in my system left my stomach swollen
Her sweet Kisses could revive a dead person
And her presence brings joy to all the sadness
I can’t concentrate during my classes
Thinking about you became a drug lately and I’m addicted to it
I won’t deny it, like Kobe Bryan enjoys winning all the time
I want to win your heart and permanently make it mine
Why follow signs that don’t explain what lies on the other side
It could possibly be a trap set by destiny
It’s a fact if god took part of me you may keep the heart of me
Why does the cage bird sing? Maybe cause it was lonely
I don’t know I got many unanswered questions bugging
Like trains passing while I sleep deep dream you and me
Lost in your eyes gleam blood flowing quick like a stream

  42. QUESTION:
Please, What Is This That Is In My Room? I Need Help Quick!!!!!! This Is Urgent!?
No one believes me(neither my parents nor my older brother)but for awhile(like two years or more)I have known that there is something in my room. At first I thought it was a ghost because it seemed harmless but, after tonight, I have started thinking it is a poltergeist.
For the past few weeks I was setting up a recorder in my room. I would hear many different things when I'd play the tape back. Everything from whispers to someone going, 'pssst', and it really got to me. But what really SCARED the LIVING HELL out of me was when I was trying to fall asleep and heard this laugh(it was like a girl my age, I was thirteen at the time and now I'm fourteen cause a week ago I just had my birthday, going tee-hee). Well, luckily I had the recorder going that night and when I played it back I could not believe it:the laugh was on there. AND the freaky part was my neighbor James had described hearing this laugh as he walked past my dad's shed AND I'd heard this laugh myself before when I was at my friend's house in her bedroom alone while he was down the hall taking a shower.
I'm including as much detail as possible so this could get a little long.
I have also been touched by this thing, whatever it is. I have had it slip it's...hand....across my ankle once. It has moved my hair and messed with my pillow while I had my head laid on it. It actually moved it's....fingers....up and down my ankle just a few days ago. It felt all soft and tingly. It happened once and stopped. Then happened again so I put my foot against my ankle so that I wouldn't feel it. And that worked but in the end I was so creeped I just went ahead and got out of bed.
In-fact, my first experience with this thing was around two years ago I think. I had sat up in bed and I was listening to my music when I felt something get on the bed. I looked but didn't see anything so I turned back around and continued listening to my music. It was really freaky but after a few minutes I got shoved me from behind and I just sat there, shocked, because nothing had ever happened like this before. But then, after awhile, it happened again, more forceful, and I nearly got shoved out of bed. I left the room and was so scared I had to sleep on the couch the rest of the night. I can even remember that it was a Saturday.
For the past few days I have been wearing a cross around my neck cause my friend and I were joking about demons. This isn't really paranormal but I wanted to let you all know everything so anyways tonight I was taking my headphones out of my ears and, like usual, an earbud had got tangled in the chain. When I was trying to get it out the chain unlatched(most likely pulling on the earbud did it though I'm not sure). Anyways after that I KNEW something bad was going to happen tonight, that I was going to experience something again, and sure enough it did. This is the reason I am up right now at three in the morning scared $hit-less:
I was facing the wall, lying in bed. I had woken up feeling sweaty and hot from lying under so many blankets(it's really cold in my room). Whatever. None-the-less, I had this feeling that I shouldn't turn to the other side of my bed. I sensed I shouldn't but of course I did turn to the other side anyways. The first few seconds went by and I was fine but suddenly I saw this white in my vision(I had my eyes closed) and I found I was being pulled back to the other side of my bed. I couldn't move, couldn't speak or anything. I was so scared and I couldn't get any words out of my mouth no matter how hard I tried. Finally I gave up trying to move or speak and just let it pull me. After a few seconds it stopped and I could move again and talk. I turned back around to the side of the bed I was originally facing but I was so creeped I went ahead and got out of the bed and left the room and got on the computer to put this question up.
Please, what is this thing? Is it a ghost, poltergeist, something else??? It's scaring me because lately it's been getting physical. Seriously, what the hell is this thing and how can I get rid of it if it's harmful? What can I do to get it to stop touching me?
One more quick thing:it also felt like earlier in the night, way before this happened, that someone was breathing cold breath on my cheeks. I had just taken a bath and my skin was really hot because of that so maybe it was my OWN breath but I'm not positive because it didn't feel like my breath. I'd stop breathing and it wouldn't happen and so I'd start breathing again and after I'd breath out I'd feel it breathing on my cheeks while I was breathing in.
    Really what is this thing??
If it helps, the other night I saw this clearish shape moving through the yard while I was outside swinging. And I have seen some black shapes move quickly out the corner of my eye and every once in awhile I'd see a tiny red light like that of a pocket laser.
Someone, anyone, please tell me what this thing is and what I need to know about it.
    Thanks in advan
